Sacred pause

This space is an invitation to pause, to draw us into deeper awareness of the presence of God within and around us, to invite us to breathe a little more deeply recognizing our own humanness, and to awaken us to the depth of love in which we are held in Jesus. Our spiritual practice for this week is:

blessed to be a blessing

In church on Sunday, the congregation unfolded origami hearts to reveal one of these blessings. After a few moments of silent reflection, they exchanged their blessing with someone else in the congregation- symbolizing the way we are blessed in order to bless others.

As you engage with these blessings outside of the context of Sunday morning through the video below, consider which blessings resonate most deeply with you. Sit with it for a moment. Then, consider a loved one. Which blessing might resonate the most with them? Consider texting or emailing them a picture of the blessing- blessing them as you have been blessed!

You can download a PDF of the blessings here as well.
