LECTIO DIVINA

Dietrick Bonhoffer writes in his book Life Together; "The Word of Scripture should never stop sounding in your ears and working in you all day long. ...accept the Word of Scripture and ponder it in your heart. Do not ask 'How shall I pass this on?' but 'What does it say to me?' Then ponder this word long in your heart until it has gone right into you and taken possession of you."

Lectio Divina ("divine reading") is a guided, meditative approach assisting hearing, contemplating, and assimilating God's Word. Are you ready to allow God's Word to become incarnate within your being? Are you ready to pray, "Come Lord Jesus. Here I am. Speak Lord, for your servant is listening." PLAYGROUND FELLOWSHIP

The Playground Group will meet after church on May 31st, June 7, and June 14th led by Lottie. This group will explore three playgrounds in our neighborhood (one each Sunday) so kids and adults can fellowship together. While this group’s target audience is families with kids, the young at heart are always welcome. Bring a picnic lunch!
