Family Class: Reminders of Jesus

Sunday, Jan. 28, 11:30am-1:00pm

Facilitators: Pastor Becki Barrett & Pastor HT Lee
Location: Community Building

Please join us this Sunday for a family-friendly class exploring the sacraments (baptism and communion), and how we practice them together as children and adults. The sacraments are practices from Jesus to remind us of God's eternal love, presence, and grace for us all. We celebrate these sacraments together because Jesus asks us to remember together, practice together, and to be one in his love. Dive into this deeper with us on Sunday during a fun-filled time for all ages.

Lunch will be provided. $5/pp suggested donation. Please let us know in advance about any dietary restrictions. RSVP to: htl@oppc.org or 206-391-9333.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

Sunday, Feb. 11 at 11:15 a.m.

Join us on Sunday, Feb. 11 at 11:15 a.m. (children welcome!) for our Congregational Meeting.  We will review the 2017/2018 Financials, approve pastor’s compensation, receive our Annual Report and elect our Nominating Committee 2018.  Our church is in an exciting season and all are invited to take part in celebrating what God has done and will continue to do.

Ash Wednesday

Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 7:00 p.m.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of our Lenten Journey and draws us into Christ’s suffering, death, and resurrection.  This worship service allows us to walk through the journey of Christ learning how Christ’s death brings us life and how Christ’s suffering moves us to love and action.

Maundy Thursday

Thursday, Mar. 29 at 7:00 p.m.

In preparation for Easter, join us as we worship God, hear the story of Christ’s death, and celebrate communion.  Just as Christ shared this meal with the disciples before his death, we are reminded of Christ’s love for us as we worship together and understand the reality of both death and resurrection.

Easter Morning Worship

Sunday, Apr. 1 at 10:00 a.m.

Easter morning we celebrate resurrection and the truth of God’s saving grace for each of us.  Join us for worship as we claim the promise of hope and the gift of God’s redemptive love for all.  Christ is risen!  He is risen indeed!  Hallelujah and Amen!
