The OPPC Hiking Fellowship will hike the Pacific Crest Trail near Snoqualmie Pass From Windy Gap to Mirror Lake on Saturday, September 21st.

This is a moderately strenuous hike of about 7 miles round trip and 750 feet of ascent. We may decide to make it a loop trip and also visit the Twin Lakes. This will not increase the distance but would add another 750 feet to the total ascent.

After the hike we will proceed to the Nelson Chalet at Alpental for Debriefing, Happy Hour and an early supper of Pizza & Salad.

We will meet in the OPPC parking lot at 8:30 am to car pool to the trail head. We should return to the Chalet by 2:30 pm. Please bring sturdy footwear, water, a trail snack and clothing suitable for the weather. Also please bring a beverage of your choice for Happy Hour and $5.00. toward the pizza.
