OPPC’s Social Justice Task Force is leading our first book discussion, August 16th at 12:00 p.m. via Zoom.

Please read, I’m Still Here, Austin Channing Brown, and come prepared to listen, share, and learn about race through a theological lens. Our task force was formed out of Session’s discussion on current events and our desire to create space to listen together about how God may be calling us to learn and grow.

Our book discussion is designed to provide space for brave dialogue and to listen to the voice of the author as we reflect upon how we might grow, change, and be guided in our faith to reflect God’s full expression of ethnic diversity, inclusion, and justice for all people.
